The success of Ballymena Lawn Tennis is dependent on members volunteering their time to help. If you can help, please let one of the committee members know so we can contact you with a list of available activities. Senior members can volunteer as part of the club’s management committee or by helping to organise certain club events.

Ballymena Lawn Tennis Club Junior Members are part of the Volunteer Now Impact Awards, where they volunteer within our junior club. They assist with junior club play, junior festivals, tournaments and have representatives on the club junior committee.

This programme will enable all young people to receive recognition for the hours that they complete through an online platform (powered by Be Collective).

Volunteers register on the Be Collective website, create a profile and join the BLTC volunteering organisation as well as the Volunteer Now Impact Awards group.  As soon as the volunteer reaches a landmark number of hours, they will send be sent their certificate electronically!  It will appear in their social profile and will form part of your social CV, ready for download, printing and saving.

The Club Volunteer Co-ordinator (Barry Clarke) will help the volunteers with this process of signing up, alongside assigning them their individual hours.

Our volunteers achievements are regularly celebrated with the club having a volunteer cup and the distribution of their certificates during our club prize day. Long time volunteers receive a free complimentary piece of club kit and also go on a day trip each year as a thank you.

Eleanor Ireland (BLTC Girls Captain) achieved the highest ever number of recorded hours in Northern Ireland, achieving over 600 hours.
