Captains Day 2024
Saturday 30th March
Session 1 - 9-11:30am for all primary school children
Session 2 - 2-4:30pm for secondary school.
Refreshments will follow afterwards.
For the younger group - a continental breakfast morning 11-11:30
A continental breakfast typically consists of lighter fare, from bread and pastry items like toast, bagels, or muffins to a selection of fresh fruits and yogurt options.
Beverages like juice, coffee, and tea will usually be served, along with milk and sometimes cereal.
Older group - Pizza and Pudding(Dessert) Party
Pizza’s will be ordered, while juniors will bring a dessert of choice.
There is an option for the older junior members to participate in a BLTC Tennis Bake Off Competition.
Where they can bring a tennis related/designed pudding.
The basis of the event will be “fun” competition.
There will be a “Team Challenge” Event for both sections.
7 point and 10 point tiebreaks will be played to ensure a quick turnaround.
For the Red, Orange, Green players there will be a social quick fire parent/child Red Ball tournament for 30 minutes. (First Session Only)
30 minutes of fun games in a rotation based format (each court has something different) - First Session Only
In addition to the team challenge we will Look to have a one point tournament shoot out for singles and/or doubles - Second Session Only
“Soak the Coaches/Captains” - Using wet sponges.
More details will follow closer to the date.
