Winter is Coming - BLTC Internal League Launch

We have an exciting new addition to club play which we wish to share with you. Over the last few weeks, we have been thinking about ways of getting members of all ages and abilities enticed to get out during the dark, dreary, and cold evenings. This has led to the creation of our very first “all inclusive” club league entitled “Winter is Coming”.

Winter is coming, we believe is an apt title for our first internal league as we are hoping to have this running during club play throughout November, December, January and potentially into February.

The club wants this internal league to be a real event, to allow our members to compete and socialise with each other, while being part of a team, including members from a range of tennis experiences.

Within the league we will look to include mixed doubles, ladies’ doubles and men’s doubles matches, while helping to ensure that players can compete against those close to their current playing style.

The winning team will get a plaque, along with a "victory meal" at a local restaurant - (Sponsor TBA Shortly)

Entry Deadline - Friday 17th November 

League Commencement - Tuesday 28th November
