Belfast & District Champions 2024Congratulations to Ballymena’s Men’s Singles B Team who won division 4 of the Belfast and District league tonight with a draw against Downshire TC.
Well done to Alan, Nick, Csaba, Ashton, Derek and Peter who all contributed to the team!
They didn’t drop a fixture the whole season, recording 4 wins and 1 draw.
Throughout the league the team recorded 17 match wins, to only 3 losses. They won 77% of the sets they played and 63% of the games they won.
Nick Cumming and Csaba Mezei finished first and second in the player statistics of the league, which had 35 players on it.
Nick won all 4 of his matches and didn’t drop a set in the league. He won 49 games and dropped only 20. Csaba won 8 sets and dropped only 1, with 53 games won and dropped just 24.
The players all fought their hearts out throughout the entire league. Well done, you did the club and the town proud!
