This weekend we had 8 juniors competing in various competitions throughout Ulster Tennis!
Seth and Bianca were competing in the U14 Spring Qualifiers up at Cavehill Tennis Club this weekend.
We then had Ashton, Peter, Finlay, Conor, Sofia and Catherine who we’re playing in the T100 singles event being held at Belfast Boat Club.
The players enjoyed themselves, and learnt lots from their matches. They did BLTC proud just by entering, being the best version of themselves, which is all we can ask for.
Our mantra for all our players who wish to enter tournaments - focus on self improvement and testing yourself. Whatever else happens, is a bonus.
Everyone put on excellent displays with matches won by many of the juniors throughout the day.
It’s great seeing the juniors bringing their hard work from training and practice onto the match court.
These are all stepping stones in their player development. Well done to everyone who competed over the weekend.
A special shout out to Bianca Buzea (competing in her first ever tournament) and Catherine McDonald for recording their official first wins on the Ulster Tour, while Conor McIlhatton was competing in his first official Ulster Tournament.
